• These aren’t just cows — they’re the result of years of careful selection, quiet handling, and a deep commitment to raising the kind of cattle that work for a living.
• We're offering 50 head of ranch-raised, hardy Simmental-Angus cross cows. They’re the right size, the right kind, and they know how to do their job. Every one of them raised a calf in 2025, and they’re bred back to quality Red and Black Angus bulls for 2026, with calving to start March 8.
• They’ve been handled right — moved on horseback, with dogs, or quietly on foot. They’re used to big country and know how to travel. We’ve kept back replacement heifers from this herd year after year — the kind you don’t want to part with — because we believed in the genetics and saw the results in the calves.
• This sale isn’t an easy one. After Jim’s passing, it’s just not possible for us to keep running as many cows as we have. These girls have been part of our lives and our program, and we’re proud of what they are.
